Oxford Community Foundation (OCF) helps people and organizations leave a personalized, lasting legacy in Oxford, to make it a better place. OCF is the only Community Foundation that serves all of Oxford County. We make charitable giving easy, providing the opportunity for you to target your areas of interest and protecting your legacy by investing and granting your funds wisely. OCF is the organization to work with if you would like to leave a lasting impact in Oxford.

OCF has granted $1.2 million to over 100 local organizations.  Grants support the entire community and are dispersed to the following areas: Arts and Culture, the Environment, Education, Health & Wellness, Heritage, Community & Social Services, and Sports & Recreation.

OCF keeps money in Oxford County.  OCF brings money to Oxford County through our partnership with Community Foundations of Canada. OCF is one of 202 community foundations across Canada.  

The Foundation is made up of an appointed Board of Directors and community volunteers, representing a variety of backgrounds and professions, from across the County.

Oxford Community Foundation gained registered charity status in 2003.

When you entrust your Legacy Giving to Oxford Community Foundation, you have the opportunity to be involved in community leadership initiatives, foundation events and site visits as desired. You will receive regular communications including an annual fund statement, our annual report and newsletters.

   We are your legacy partner and will carry out your wishes. We ensure your legacy is always invested wisely in the community — directed to the best and most effective community projects and charities in the areas you care most about.
2. We will invest your gift wisely
   Individuals, families and charities have entrusted their legacies to us. We pool funds, partnering with London Community Foundation and top-notch investment experts to help your fund grow so that the reach of your legacy will expand over time. You will receive an annual fund statement detailing activities.
3. We will ensure that your gift has a lasting impact
   We have deep roots in the community and knowledge of community issues and organizations. No matter what your interest — children and youth, arts and culture, education, environment, health care — we will ensure your legacy gift makes a real difference.
4. We will honour your generosity
   There is great power in charitable giving through an endowment fund. It’s a reflection of your values, and a statement to future generations about your foresight, concern, imagination and vision. We’ll work with you to share your story and inspire others to make a difference in our community — or, if you prefer, your anonymity will be respected.
